  Beginning of the Second Semester After completing the first semester examinations, our second semester classes commenced on 19th February 2026 . This marked the beginning of a new phase in our B.Ed. journey with new subjects, activities, and learning experiences. Students returned to college with renewed enthusiasm and motivation. The teachers introduced the syllabus and explained the important topics that would be covered during the semester. We were also informed about the upcoming academic activities, assignments, and practical work that are part of the B.Ed. curriculum. The beginning of the second semester was therefore a fresh start, encouraging us to work harder and continue our journey toward becoming effective and responsible teachers.

  First Semester University Examination The First Semester University Examination for our B.Ed. course was conducted at L.N. Government College Ponneri . The examination was held as part of the university evaluation process for the first semester subjects. All the students from our college were allotted this center to write the examination. We had to travel to the exam center every day according to the exam schedule. The examinations were conducted in a strict and well-organized manner under proper supervision. At the beginning, I felt a little nervous because it was my first university examination in B.Ed. and also because the exam center was in another college. However, once the exams started, I became more confident and focused on writing the answers clearly and effectively.   Republic Day Celebration – 26 January Our college celebrated Republic Day on 26th January with great patriotism and enthusiasm.  we got this reminder from our college "Good Evening Students, We are happy to inform you that on Monday, 26.01.2026, we will be celebrating Republic Day, a day that reflects the spirit of freedom and unity that defines our great nation. All students are warmly invited to participate in the Republic Day celebrations. Let us come together to honour our country’s rich heritage and remember the sacrifices made by our freedom fighters. We look forward to seeing you all on Monday, ready to celebrate and sing our National Anthem with pride."   First Semester Model Examination The First Semester Model Examination for our B.Ed. course was conducted from 19th January to 23rd January in our college. The model examination was organized to help us to  prepare for the upcoming university examinations and to evaluate our understanding of the entire first semester syllabus.  The question papers covered the important topics from all the subjects we studied during the semester. The examinations were organized in a systematic and disciplined manner, allowing students to assess their understanding of the subjects taught during the term.   First Visit to the Psychology Lab – 17 November 2025 On 17th November 2025 , our class had our first visit to the Psychology Lab in our college. It was a very interesting and informative experience for all of us. As B.Ed. students, understanding educational psychology is very important because it helps us understand students’ behavior, learning patterns, and mental processes. During the visit, the teacher explained the purpose and importance of the psychology lab in teacher education. We were introduced to different psychological tests and instruments used to study intelligence, memory, attention, aptitude, and personality. These tools help teachers understand individual differences among students and support them in the learning process.   National Education Day Celebration Our college celebrated National Education Day (India) with great enthusiasm and respect. This day is observed every year on 11th November to commemorate the birth anniversary of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad , the first Education Minister of independent India. The celebration aimed to create awareness about the importance of education in national development. During the programme, teachers explained the valuable contributions of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad in shaping India’s education system. He strongly believed that education is the key to progress and worked tirelessly to promote modern and scientific education in the country. As a B.Ed. student, the celebration was very meaningful for me. It reminded me of the important role teachers play in spreading knowledge and shaping the future of students. The event inspired all of us to value education and to work towards becoming responsible and dedicated teachers in the future.

  Constitutional Day of India – 26 November Our college observed Constitution Day (India) on 26th November with great respect and awareness. This day is celebrated to remember the adoption of the Constitution of India , which is the supreme law of our country.           Constitution Day, also known as Samvidhan Divas , commemorates the historic moment when the Constitution of India was adopted by the Constituent Assembly on 26 November 1949 . It later came into effect on 26 January 1950 , which is celebrated as Republic Day . The Constitution provides the framework for governance and ensures the rights and responsibilities of citizens. During the celebration in our college, students and teachers gathered to reflect on the importance of constitutional values. A special programme was organized where the Preamble to the Constitution of India was read aloud.   Pongal Celebration – 12th January 2026 Pongal Celebration in Our College Our college celebrated Pongal with great enthusiasm and traditional spirit on 12th January 2026 .  The campus was beautifully decorated with colorful kolams , sugarcane, turmeric plants, and traditional pots, creating a vibrant festive atmosphere. The celebration began with a prayer, thanking nature, farmers, and the Sun God for a good harvest Since I am from Kerala, this celebration was entirely new to me. I had heard about Pongal before, but this was the first time I experienced it directly. I felt excited to learn about the importance of thanking nature, the Sun God, and farmers for the harvest. It reminded me of harvest festivals celebrated in Kerala, like Onam, and I could see the similarities in expressing gratitude and unity. Christmas Day Celebration – 24th December 2025 Christmas Celebration in Our College The spirit of Christmas filled our college campus with joy and excitement on 24th December 2025 .   The decorations and pulkoodu (nativity crib) were beautifully arranged from the middle of December itself. The entire campus looked colorful and festive, spreading happiness everywhere. The programme was compered gracefully by Sandhya , who kept the audience engaged throughout the event. The celebration began with a prayer, creating a peaceful and sacred atmosphere. After the prayer, the cultural events started with great enthusiasm. Students performed a lively group dance , followed by melodious Christmas songs that added charm to the celebration.          A special skit depicting the birth of Jesus Christ was performed. FIRST UNIT TEST  I felt a little nervous before the exams, as it was our first internal assessment in B.Ed. .            To evaluate the academic progress of the students, the First Unit Test was held from    24th November 2025  to 28 november    2025 . The tests covered important topics from all core papers and pedagogy subjects. It provided an opportunity for students to identify their strengths and areas that needed improvement.  The examination was organized smoothly and systematically, helping students assess their understanding of the subjects covered during the initial months of the course.   Children’s Day Celebration – November 14 🎉 Children’s Day: Children’s Day is celebrated on November 14 in India to honor the birth anniversary of Jawaharlal Nehru . He loved children and believed that they are the future of the nation. This day reminds us of the importance of education, care, and guidance for every child. We celebrated Children’s Day in our college. The event started at 1:30 PM onwards , and it was the first celebration organized by our batch. All the staff members joined us and made the event more special. The programme began with a prayer.  The event was beautifully compered by Sandhya.  We had a wonderful skit performed by Swetha, Sandhya, and Siva Shankari, which was enjoyed by everyone.  Madhumitha and Hema performed a lively dance.   First Day at Jaya B.Ed College, Thirunindravur – October 28 🎓 October 28 was a memorable and special day in my life. It was my first class at Jaya B.Ed College   Our college timing is from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM , and I reached the campus early with excitement and a little nervousness. The atmosphere was fresh, positive, and welcoming. Seeing new friends and respected teachers made the day even more special.  We attended our first class. The faculty members introduced the B.Ed course structure and explained the importance of discipline, dedication, and responsibility as future teachers. We also introduced ourselves and shared why we chose the teaching profession. The session was interactive and motivating.
