  Beginning of the Second Semester After completing the first semester examinations, our second semester classes commenced on 19th February 2026 . This marked the beginning of a new phase in our B.Ed. journey with new subjects, activities, and learning experiences. Students returned to college with renewed enthusiasm and motivation. The teachers introduced the syllabus and explained the important topics that would be covered during the semester. We were also informed about the upcoming academic activities, assignments, and practical work that are part of the B.Ed. curriculum. The beginning of the second semester was therefore a fresh start, encouraging us to work harder and continue our journey toward becoming effective and responsible teachers.

  First Semester University Examination The First Semester University Examination for our B.Ed. course was conducted at L.N. Government College Ponneri . The examination was held as part of the university evaluation process for the first semester subjects. All the students from our college were allotted this center to write the examination. We had to travel to the exam center every day according to the exam schedule. The examinations were conducted in a strict and well-organized manner under proper supervision. At the beginning, I felt a little nervous because it was my first university examination in B.Ed. and also because the exam center was in another college. However, once the exams started, I became more confident and focused on writing the answers clearly and effectively. This experience helped me understand the importance of proper preparation, time management, and confidence during examinations.   Republic Day Celebration – 26 January Our college celebrated Republic Day on 26th January with great patriotism and enthusiasm.  we got this reminder from our college "Good Evening Students, We are happy to inform you that on Monday, 26.01.2026, we will be celebrating Republic Day, a day that reflects the spirit of freedom and unity that defines our great nation. All students are warmly invited to participate in the Republic Day celebrations. Let us come together to honour our country’s rich heritage and remember the sacrifices made by our freedom fighters. We look forward to seeing you all on Monday, ready to celebrate and sing our National Anthem with pride."   First Semester Model Examination The First Semester Model Examination for our B.Ed. course was conducted from 19th January to 23rd January in our college. The model examination was organized to help us to  prepare for the upcoming university examinations and to evaluate our understanding of the entire first semester syllabus.  The question papers covered the important topics from all the subjects we studied during the semester.   Second Unit Test Examination The Second Unit Test for our B.Ed. course was conducted from 22nd December to 27th December in our college. The examinations were organized in a systematic and disciplined manner, allowing students to assess their understanding of the subjects taught during the term.   First Visit to the Psychology Lab – 17 November 2025 On 17th November 2025 , our class had our first visit to the Psychology Lab in our college. It was a very interesting and informative experience for all of us. As B.Ed. students, understanding educational psychology is very important because it helps us understand students’ behavior, learning patterns, and mental processes. During the visit, the teacher explained the purpose and importance of the psychology lab in teacher education. We were introduced to different psychological tests and instruments used to study intelligence, memory, attention, aptitude, and personality. These tools help teachers understand individual differences among students and support them in the learning process.   National Education Day Celebration Our college celebrated National Education Day (India) with great enthusiasm and respect. This day is observed every year on 11th November to commemorate the birth anniversary of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad , the first Education Minister of independent India. The celebration aimed to create awareness about the importance of education in national development. During the programme, teachers explained the valuable contributions of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad in shaping India’s education system. He strongly believed that education is the key to progress and worked tirelessly to promote modern and scientific education in the country. As a B.Ed. student, the celebration was very meaningful for me. It reminded me of the important role teachers play in spreading knowledge and shaping the future of students. The event inspired all of us to value education and to work towards becoming responsible and dedicated teachers in the future.
