A new beginning always brings new hopes, dreams, and responsibilities. The Inaugural Function of the B.Ed. & M.Ed. 2025–2027 batch at Jaya College of Education was a memorable occasion that marked the start of a meaningful journey toward becoming dedicated educators.
Our seniors warm welcome with a rose flower made the day more fragrant , I met too many new people with different perspectives, atitudes, and ambitions
Invitation letter
The Inaugural Function for the 2025–2027 B.Ed. and M.Ed. batch was conducted with great enthusiasm and dignity at Jaya College of Education, Thiruninravur. The programme marked the beginning of a new academic journey for future educators, filled with hope, responsibility, and commitment.
The function was presided over by Prof. Dr. A. Kanagaraj, Honorable Chairman. The ceremony began with the traditional lighting of the kuthuvilakku (lamp) by the Chief Guest along with the dignitaries, symbolizing the removal of ignorance and the spreading of knowledge.
Welcome Address
The programme was beautifully compered by Ms. Srividya R, who guided the session smoothly and confidently. The Welcome Address was delivered by Ms. Sangami M, who warmly welcomed the Chief Guest, management members, principal, staff, and dear students. She highlighted the importance of teacher education and encouraged students to make the best use of the opportunities provided by the institution.
The ceremony started with the prayer Tamil Thai Valthu, filling the auditorium with pride and devotion towards our mother tongue and culture.
Chief Guest Address
The highlight of the programme was the inspiring speech delivered by Prof. Dr. A. Kanagaraj. In his address, he shared many valuable life experiences and motivated the students to become dedicated, compassionate, and responsible teachers. He emphasized:

His speech deeply inspired the students and encouraged them to view teaching not just as a profession, but as a service to society.
Student Introduction
An interactive session was conducted where students introduced themselves. This helped everyone to know each other better and created a friendly and comfortable atmosphere. It marked the first step toward building unity and teamwork among the new batch.
Vote of Thanks
The programme concluded with the Vote of Thanks delivered by Ms. Monisha R.B. She expressed gratitude to the Chief Guest, management, Principal, faculty members, and students for making the event a grand success
