Constitutional Day of India – 26 November Our college observed Constitution Day (India) on 26th November with great respect and awareness. This day is celebrated to remember the adoption of the Constitution of India , which is the supreme law of our country. Constitution Day, also known as Samvidhan Divas , commemorates the historic moment when the Constitution of India was adopted by the Constituent Assembly on 26 November 1949 . It later came into effect on 26 January 1950 , which is celebrated as Republic Day . The Constitution provides the framework for governance and ensures the rights and responsibilities of citizens. During the celebration in our college, students and teachers gathered to reflect on the importance of constitutional values. A special programme was organized where the Preamble to the Constitution of India was read aloud.
